A little perhaps but lighthearted and still makes me chuckle.......thought I'd share....
A similar debate was had about fuel consumption and it moved towards hybrid vehicles look at the next three quotes.....
LRA was correct in his assumption by the way..... If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!! Treat every day as if it is your last....one day you will be right!! |

Had the answer from my MOT station..... From the 16th Feb you will need a CAT on a diesel if one was originally fitted as standard
Mine is going in for MOT on Monday, month early but at least Ill then have a year to sort out a new down pipe etc ! 2007 TD5 90 Hard Top |

sorry to say but when other countries take the same steps to curb emissions then I will be more interested . some counties are still pouring out 10x worst emissions then we do .
Will there be a big rush to mot before the 16th feb? |

sports cats are not that expensive , whats to stop you cutting a de cat pipe and fitting one in
or fit one in the straight thru pipe instead of silencer . cant see anything saying it has to be a orignal standard cat just fitted as standard from new for mot so leave your decat pipe in place and fit sports cat down underneath ??? |

You are correct, if the rules are what we expect them to be this will be all thats needed to pass the mot legally and keep Vosa happy. |
