Sorry to jump in, but the manual states you can only use 5w/30 meeting the Ford WSS-M2C913-B
spec. It is an oil with low high-temp-high-shear viscosity. Puma 110" SW ............................................................. Earth first. Other planets later |

Hi Guy,
Can you please specify oils/fluids for the following: Defender with Td5 Engine (2.5 5 cylinder 1998-2007) Defender with Puma Engine (2.4 2007-) R380 Manual Gearbox (factory recommended oil is Texaco "MTF94") (1998-2007) LT230 Transfer Gearbox and Axles (factory recommended is 75W-90 GL5) (1998-?) Can someone fill in the gap for the Puma 6-speed gearbox, and is the LT230 transfer still used on the Pumas? |

Had a look on the Castrol website and put the registration in to find the corect oils for the 110. The manual gearbox says SMX -S which is a synthetic 75W-85 gear oil.
I cannot find any trace on the castrol site of BOT130 as stated. Is this SMX oil the same with a differant name. Tony |
