there will be an EGR KILLER KIT at the end of the year ......from a small company (doing porsche race cars) in germany......with the control light on the dash off

......the complete system is finished.....but they still need to turn off the control light....this takes a few more weeks

That's the detail I (and others here) would like to know - how are they going to do that? Will it involve a mechanical implement or will it require some sort of software patch? |

Definately not keen!!!! Unless of course they can guarantee 100% that it will be compatable with the remap I paid a significant amount for. There are numerous individuals working on a solution and I feel the one who can come up with a mechanical solution will 'coin it in' from me certainly! ![]() Treat every day as if it is your last....one day you will be right!! |

Indeed, although in this day & age, I doubt you can get around the software part. What would be interesting is if a mechanical device of some sort were able to 'fool' the EGR/MAF sensor into thinking that the EGR was still there ![]() |
