I'm still running with the original blanks as I was committed to another remap! Maybe get my EGR shut off with the DC100 as I just love it! Still no problems nearly two years later! If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!!
Treat every day as if it is your last....one day you will be right!! |

if you have a bas remap, you can turn it back to standard in a few minutes and in this case no risk at your LR dealer.

I bought a drilled EGR blanking plate.
I read all the thread but most of the supplied images are not available anymore. Could you please confirm that the plate must be fitted here: Click image to enlarge Detailed image: Thanks for any advice! |

Think on page 6 fabiocastor mentioned about the clutch and egr being linked.....is there any truth in this?
The reason I ask is I'm still trying to resolve my problem 3+ year on ...... Going back 12 - 18 months I suspected the clutch switch and then dismissed it but strangely when the clutch operates well without the mouse noise a d after some lubricant the engine seems to work better.....i had put it down to the placebo effect??? Now I don't know? With all the stuff that's been replaced there can't be much left to replace? |

Have you not just had a FULL diagnostic along with extensive road tests and a new turbo ? Surely your car is working as it should be by now lol.
Stop reading the forums problem threads and enjoy your car hehe. Pete. |

Many things can change the egr position including if it thinks you are changing gear. That said I do not think this is not your cars problems hehe.
I thought the 1k+ warranty turbo would have been the cure once and for all, yet another piece of warranty work not fixed it Pete |
