I made it myself with stainless steel (0,8 mm thickness) It's the first from the top (remember, metric dimensions) Click image to enlarge Admin note: this post has had its images recovered from a money grabbing photo hosting site and reinstated Discovery 5 td6 HSE Stornoway Gray Outback Engineering Limited Edition IID Pro MV License |

Hi there Red Desert. Jut noticed you are out there in Germany. I will be heading back to Germany in November (Paderborn). So what is going on in the world of Land Rover out there? I will probably be going to Freizeitpark Mammut at some point- it is one of my most favourite plces in Germany other than the mountains through the winter

That's the detail I (and others here) would like to know - how are they going to do that? Will it involve a mechanical implement or will it require some sort of software patch? |

hmm, not sure how many ppl will be keen on that - how will they guarantee that their software patch will not break things? |

Definately not keen!!!! Unless of course they can guarantee 100% that it will be compatable with the remap I paid a significant amount for. There are numerous individuals working on a solution and I feel the one who can come up with a mechanical solution will 'coin it in' from me certainly! If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!! Treat every day as if it is your last....one day you will be right!! |

Indeed, although in this day & age, I doubt you can get around the software part. What would be interesting is if a mechanical device of some sort were able to 'fool' the EGR/MAF sensor into thinking that the EGR was still there |
