Make sure you buy genuine, the Br*tpart filler plug will wind right through into the gearbox......

I'd say that's the bias spring clicking against the bias plate, nothing to worry about. Nearly necessitated a gearbox strip down on my first Td5.....

We fitted our own, Bearmach from Britcar. Took a bit of fettling, did all the rubbers as well so it should be OK for a while Thumbs Up

My old D2 didn't have the top nut when I bought it, didn't have it 100K later either. As long as the others are torqued up OK it'll be fine.
