Thanks very much Alex, your kit looks great, however it does not seem to include the vacuum pipe or the blanking cap for brake servo to vacuum pipe... are these excluded for a reason? Are they necessary?
Many thanks for your help! |

Hi
The vaccum pipe and Blanking cap are by no means necessary. With our kit the EGR Solenoids are left in place and we have had no issues with this in all the years we have been supplying them. Best Regards Alex Divers |

Hi 1978. I have the IRB EGR kit on my TD5 and have done for 6 or 7 years now. Super quality, still as shiney as the day it was installed and worth every penny. I also have their Stage 1 remap which is excellent too.

When I did mine I removed the solenoid because it was no longer needed and I didn't want it there any more! My blanking capbof choice was I believe an m5 bolt found in the toolbox.

Thanks for your replies chaps, much appreciated.
Geobloke, how did you manage to buy from irb? They haven't responded to any of my correspondence or that of at least two mates who have been trying to get in touch. I assumed that they had ceased trading. Last edited by 1978 on 26th Apr 2016 8:53pm. Edited 1 time in total |

Morning Ian, my pm from two months ago remains unread in my outbox. Have you received the billets as yet? Any news on how to place an order?! |

If you are at Billing this weekend i will have some EGR Bypass kits with me. Feel free to come along to see and feel the quality.
Just an option of course. Alex Divers |

Thanks Alex,
I'm not at Billing unfortunately, I have no doubts whatsoever as to the quality of your kit, if it included the vacuum pipe and blanking cap I would've snapped one up a long time ago. Is it fairly straightforward for me to get hold of these and supplement your kit with them? Thanks again for your time |

Our Kit comes with everything you need to successfully blank the EGR however if you would still like vacuum pipe and blanking cap then you can always get them yourself and add it on to our Kit. Regardless of what you choose to do i would be more than happy to sort a kit out for you and send it out on a next day delivery service.
Just let me know. Alex Divers |

I've tried to buy the IRB egr kit as well. As seems to be a trend (here and on other forums) no interest in replying.
IRB might be great, but why bother with the pretence of selling to ordinary punters and why do the PR like the LRM front cover recently if you have no intention of engaging with people who want to buy your products. And I don't get the 'I'm too busy blah blah' - if you're too busy, staff up, or focus on what you want to spend time on. Don't offer products for sale (and some of the best it seems) and then just don't engage with people who want to buy them. Anyway, wanted to get that off my chest. 2002MY Defender 90 H/T |

You could always try JGS4x4, good quality kits with all you need and generally next day delivery, both of my Td5s have had one fitted
