Just as an aside. Check the wiring colours as the main relay on my 2003 TD5 was in position 2, not 4 as my book said. tried changing it into the correct space but other relays would not reach.

If that is so, then how can you safely stop the engine remotely without damaging the ECU or anything else for that matter. Is it possible to interrupt the ignition for example?
