Could this be causing an ABS issue?
There is some light scoring around the rear drivers side exciter ring on the inside of the brake disc.

Could this be causing my ABS issue? Have the fault code on Nanocom "rear right sensor too low"

I would say it might well be. If its not the ring then it could be damage to the sensor.

Something had jammed in there and ground away at the ring, its likely there will be damage to the sensor as well Thumbs Up 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon

Looks like something has jammed in there.

I've always wondered what these actually do. Are they essential?

The sensor looks alright, slight score but nothing that looks really bad.

The are what the ABS sensors read.

Ive cleaned the sensor,, plug and ring issue remains. Has been intermitant since I got back from a very wet Salisbury.

Worth replacing the sensor? Instagram @defender_ventures

Can you adjust the sensor to close the gap up? There may well have been something in there that has opened up the gap between the sensor and the castellated disc. This would explain the scoring and the alarm.

My near side front has always had a problem and my fix is to tap the sensor back in gently with a piece of wood and hammer, don’t overdo it, it resets and works fine until it raises up again. Hope this helps. Regards
Dennis.
