There is a setting in the ccf which is as follows on my car with the small screen

Whether that is all that is needed to activate the larger screen I don't know, I know some of the other companies who are offering activations etc have fitted the larger screens so it certainly is possible but I don't know of anybody who has done it with the IID tool (yet!)

The same applies with ambient lighting there is a setting in the ccf to activate it but as my car already has it I'm not sure whether this would switch it on or you would need further changes

EUCD-240 Ambient Lighting
Tri colour fitted, auto button disabled

I would say that most things will be able to be activated/installed in time but you have to remember that it is still in the early stages of beta testing at the moment Thumbs Up


We have a P400 with ambient lighting from the factory and a P300 without. I tried the EUCD-240 setting in the P300, and it had no effect, i.e., I think the different color ambient lighting is different hardware.

Yes correct. I’m planning to order the actual light strips and fit into the trims. There is video from powerfuluk that fitted the light strip in the dash and the plug is already in the car. I think Simon mentioned it needs activation.

Got it, sorry about that.

In that case it may work! When I changed that setting in our P300, I was able to see the ambient light UI in Pivi. It just didn't do anything.

MultiCAN-745 Tailgate Remote Release
Current: Not Supported
New: Enabled

My app hangs when I try modifying the above line of the CCF, freezing at 0% as soon as I touch Yes in "Upload these Changes?" Only way to get the app back is to force close and restart it. Tried several times, same result. Using Android and the latest beta tool firmware and app versions on a 2020 NAS 110 P400. Are you guys able to successfully modify that line, and does it enable the elusive remote button to open the tailgate (it currently does nothing in my remote)? 2020 NAS Defender 110 HSE 5-seater / Silver / Khaki / Black Pack / Black Roof / Satin Film / Cold Pack / Off-Road Pack / Advanced OR Pack / Comfort + Convenience Pack / Sirius + HD radio / HUD / Meridian Surround

I also need this function urgently, Hope you and Patrick will solve the above mentioned.

After my Respray/rebuild I did make a bypass on the wire to the Tailgate handle switch.
For an extra switch in the cargo area
I thought the connector was property clicked together but the doorhandle release switch is not functioning anymore.
My car has a full Bulkhead, so no way to get in.

I worked with Patrick a bit on that and pointed out Simon's video as well, but we never could get it to work. I had the same problem where it would hang trying to update that value. It seemed to only hang when I was just changing that single value. I combined it with a few other changes and it accepted it.

Unfortunately, it's still not working. I suspect there's a combination with another value about the boot type that's the key to it working. I'm still working on that and ACC to come up with fixes for both. 20MY Defender 110 Fuji White

I can make the change MultiCAN-745 Tailgate Remote Release on mine and it uploads OK but it has no effect on the opening of the rear door via the remote Sad Cheers Ian

Pat at Gap can probably answer that better but I would say yes, eventually! I don't think anybody has done it yet with the IID tool but the other guys who are using the JLR Pathfinder software to do it have succeeded so that proves it's capable of being done. There are some settings visible with the IID tool but none I can see to enable the paddles, the only reference I can find for the paddles is

MultiCAN-536 GearboxPaddlesInDrive
Active in Drive

Which relates to how the paddles work either in drive or in sport or both. If there are any further settings that need changing I'm sure GAP with uncover them given time, remember this is still a beta test.

Also I take it you know that you would need to fit the Alcantara V8 steering wheel as the standard wheel doesn't have the cut-out for the paddles. Powerful have a kit in for the paddles

I tried to twist the arm of the selling dealer to retrofit it, but they had to contact LRSA, who told them under no circumstances should they do this because "it's not in the approved accessories list", and it would void the warranty.

I was working on adding an activity key to my 23 110X, went into the "service/test", but I didn't see any options except the "vehicle reset".the vehicle was in service mode and the tool was connected.

Any pointers guys?

I believe you are supposed to go to your In-Control App and put the vehicle in service mode first. Then try adding the key through GAP in that order. If it doesn’t work at first, keep trying the same steps.

The vehicle is in service mode and according to powerfuluks video the "Romote Function Actuator" should show up even before that. I just didnt see it except the "vehicle reset" option.
