When I have been making changes to activate things sometimes they wouldn't appear, sometimes for days and sometimes never. Quite by accident I found out yesterday that if you make a change and it isn't showing, reset your pivi pro system, you can reset it as follows
To reset / restart PIVI follow the instructions below: Press and hold the infotainment power button for 15 seconds (until the infotainment screen turns off). This restarts the PIVI system. I did some testing with Patrick yesterday and things that weren't appearing on my car appeared straight after a Pivi reset. However I still can't activate TR2 & configurable TR Cheers Ian -------------------- 22MY Defender 110 D200 SE, Fuji White. Kielder 4x4 Safari Instagram @defender_v8 |

Mine has TR2 and configurable TR. Is there a way to export the ccf records and compare them? 20MY Defender 110 Fuji White

You can export a snapshot of your ccf by connecting your tool to the car and then connect to the tool to the app, when the tool opens press on car config (See photo1)
Click image to enlarge When it asks you if you want to download your ccf file click continue (see photo2) Click image to enlarge When it has downloaded the ccf file click on the icon in the bottom right corner (See photo3) and it should open a draft email with all the settings. In the 'to' field enter your email address if you want a copy and press on the send button Click image to enlarge That is how to do it on an iphone anyway Cheers Ian -------------------- 22MY Defender 110 D200 SE, Fuji White. Perfect, I'll do that when I get the tool. I just ordered it yesterday, so hopefully I can start testing with it soon. I'll compare notes with you when I get it.
I'm planning on seeing what it takes to get adaptive cruise enabled. Thanks for the screenshots and the tips on pivi. 20MY Defender 110 Fuji White |

Ok, here's a ccf export from my 20MY 110. It has ATPC, TR2 and Configurable TR. Can I get an export of one with factory Adaptive Cruise?
https://1drv.ms/t/s!Ai_mnDAGBf4nuI8yLqCQp_To9S2PfA?e=MBhzkl Maybe we can get somewhere if we start comparing all of these with different specs. 20MY Defender 110 Fuji White |

I am surprised that these CCF files are so descriptive. I was expecting 0 and 1 values, not actual words like ENABLED.
So can this file be considered a back that can be restored to the xar? |

Thanks Ian for the explanation.
I'm trying to figure out if it's possible to change the diesel engine power from the ccf files, can anyone in the beta test please send me a scan of a d300? Thanks for your help and sharing. Click image to enlarge |

I think I'm getting close on the Adaptive Cruise issue. The icon pops up now on boot up which it wasn't doing prior to the changes. I have one ABS fault code about missing calibration data. I think I need to run calibration on the Adaptive Cruise system, but the current beta of the IID software doesn't show that option as far as I can see.
I saw in a Disco4 thread where someone did this procedure right after making the changes and it worked for them. I'm going to reach out to Pat and see what he thinks. Second note...I haven't seen anybody talk about the ability to change the break feel. Anyway, I played with changing MultiCAN-654 and set it to 5 instead of 1. That made a noticeable improvement in the pedal feel. There's more travel before it grabs and I could modulate it better this morning. 20MY Defender 110 Fuji White |

Unless I'm mistaken, ACC uses the radar sensor located behind the LR oval badge on the grille. If that's missing from the factory build then enabling ACC won't work. Current vehicle: 2020 Defender 110S

I 'think' that all Defenders have the radar sensor behind the Land Rover Badge as it is used for the autonomous emergency braking which they all have Cheers Ian

Just joined this forum for this! I'm looking forward to getting the tool and the (beta) app. I'd like to see if I can enable Adaptive Cruise and the wifi hotspot in our 2023 P300 30th Anniversary Edition. Dynamic Mode would be great, too, but I'm not sure how dynamic the Defender can be!

There are a couple of people having problems with Adaptive Cruise at the moment but that is to be expected with this being the beta test, wifi hotspot is an easy one to activate and Dynamic also is reasonably easy to do. With Dynamic mode you can feel the steering, suspension and throttle response 'tighten' up but as it is a 2.5 ton house brick don't expect too much Although if you have the ambient lighting fitted it's pretty cool when you select Dynamic and all the lights turn red You can also enable the configurable dynamic mode where you get a lap timer, stopwatch and G meter Cheers Ian
