This morning I went to try the Raptor cubby box I bought at LRMAx. Not convinced it will fit a Pum although Phil at Raptor said it would. The box needs to be offset against the passenger seat to miss the transfer lever and the back takes up too much rear legroom.
Be fine for a 90 but not the 110 John http://www.hampshire4x4response.co.uk 2011 Tdci 110 CSW XS |

What did I do today? - absolutely nothing - just as I have done in it for about 2 months.
This was due to it trying to put me into a hedge - the traction control was coming on, left hand side only, at weird intervals. SO, to a Landy specialist in Cumnock, Ayrshire. Knackered rear left wheel bearing & ABS sensor. That fixed, decided to get it completely cleaned underside & stoneguard on it & clear waxoyl the door panels etc. All done And they even fixed the screaming fan belt (3rd belt in 3 months - needed a new tensioner & the grooves cleaned out). Bill will be chunky, but worth it. Getting it back tomorrow am - got withdrawl symptoms something awful! 2001 TD5 110 DCPU in Bonatti Grey |

@daviec1
Did the errant reading for the wheel sensor not show up when you checked it with the nanocom? I'm curious as to the refresh rate on the live data for the nanocom as it should have picked up and highlighted the voltages at all 4 sensors showing the faulty one with a lower reading of 2.17volts unless the wheel bearing caused a larger air gap at the sensor but only when moving? Did they rectify the Pump Failure 1 (monitor line), Pump Failure 3 (pump sticking) and the Shuttle valve switch failure DTC's or where they symptomatic of the faulty wheel sensor? Sorry for all the questions, just curious |

Don't forget to notify your insurance company as the value of the vehicle has probably gone up by at least 50% 1982 88" 2.25 diesel

Will be getting the full story tomorrow, but when I ran the nancom on it, all was well, even with the ABS light constantly lit. All fault codes are now clear and more importantly STAYING clear. They have taken it on a lengthy road test to check it all out and have said there is a noticeable improvement in overall performance, so there was something pretty serious going on at the rear left. They completely stripped the entire hub down and cleared all wiring back to do a re-build in essence, as it originally had them pretty stumped. Certainly, should I need anything again, from stuff like that to complete chassis replacement, they will be the guys to go to. Big thumbs up therefore for Gibsons in Cumnock. 2001 TD5 110 DCPU in Bonatti Grey |

I havn't even touched my 110 since Saturday, work has gone very quiet all of a sudden...I may give it a clean though in the downtime, as its pretty filthy with road dirt and bug splatter. 2011 110 USW

Glad to hear your getting the Defender back and the faults seem to be all fixed Could you update your original ABS post incase some one else gets the same issues? And having a common thread may help them in understanding the problems and possible fix, cheers |
