The way to find out if your vehicle is going to be recalled, is to go onto Topix and see for yourself.........I've included the how to below from the first page of this thread.

Just out of curiosity, I just tried Topix again (it was a couple of weeks ago when I last checked), and when I put my VIN in now, all I get is 'unexpected error' and it crashes!
I hope Land Rover use something a bit more robust themselves! Pete |

FYI, this recall is also applicable to South Africa. I printed it out and the dealer says that it will be active in the next couple of weeks --

Same here in Chile.
Today appear in the Topix as P022v2_ROW for the chilean market. I sent an e-mail with the data to the dealer's person in charge of the recalls, so we will see. Cheers! Eduardo MY 2007 110 SW PUMA 2.4: Big Fog of 64' MY 1994 Jayco 1207 Folding camper: "El Tremendo" Click image to enlarge |

Tried again and it works, although it still says
Outstanding field service actions: There are currently no outstanding Field Service Actions for this vehicle Interestingly, as mentioned in another thread, it does list the engine as 140PS and not 122. Pete |

My landy is back at home. The dealer repaired the oil leaks affecting the park brake within the P022 recall. The recall was noted on the owner booklet and I just paid for the 12k service. In other words the recall is official in France even if I have not received an official letter.

I am sceptical about TOPIx !
If I look at the VIN range affected by this recall, my Puma is in the range and is therefore presumably affected. If I log into topix, the only outstanding sefice action is the Q068 reprogramming (which hasn't been done yet), so it appears that the brake recall does not affect me. Unless Topix can only show one issue at time, in which case it woudl make sense if a recall took priority over a service action. I intend to ring the dealer formerly known as Ottons to solicit their opinion. |

Marshall’s of Cambridge completed the P022 recall today and I asked them what this consists of and they said “we change the brake pads and something”. So that’s clear then. Thing is how do I know it’s done?
