I'm assuming you don't want to drill the bodywork, so... They can either be mounted on the rear crossmember or inside. For the rear crossmember, often the holes on the lights don't line up with holes on the chassis. What I've done on the past is mount the lights onto a plinth, and then drill holes in the plinth to liken up with X-member holes. You can also suspend them to hang in the rear quarter light windows (or rear door glass), by either mounting to the trim or making a bracket up. Hope that makes sense?

I'm thinking about mounting them inside the rear quarter windows. But i can't so that until i get the MUD panels so I've got to wait..

If you want to use the rear quarter windows can you not use a bracket mounted from the bolts above on the roof inner lip?
Would be secure temporary until set up as you want it permanently. ⭐️⭐️God Bless the USA 🇬🇧🇺🇸 ⭐️⭐️

If it were me I'd probably get some strong number plate tape and stick them onto the crossmember just below the indicators, and would feed power through the hole into which the indicators sit? Cheers, David

Steve- That's how I've fitted them in the past. A bracket goes between the roof and the hard top, and the roof bolts go through the bracket which then hold the light in place hanging down in front of the window Thumbs Up An engine to TDi for!

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU ALL

Daft question but thinking of seat risers myself but when u push seat back does it stop u reclining it as much with bulkhead being there? So sitting more upright due to seat going further back

Paul it definitely is better with the bulkhead taken out as well the only reason to leave it in is if you use the landie for work purposes,

Did you buy my Exmoor modular seat a few months back.

993porky. The seat doesn't recline as much as i thought it would. But I've drove 200miles today and it has made loads of difference, i still need to purchase a smaller steering wheel as me knee hits as i change gear. Im based in the castle eden area, my gran is from hastings hill!!!

Steve, I'm thinking about buying a different type for the rear, I've posted a picture earlier in my thread of the type.

Anyways, so today i had some interest from a gypsy type fellow at some traffic lights offering me money for it.

and i had a drunk/drugged guy kick it in newcastle as i didn't want to give him a tab, He claimed he had been to private school and his parents were millionaires, and my car was a piece of rubbish compared too his The funny thing was he kicked the wheel rim, so i think he's going to have a sore foot... Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter

AND as i was fuelling it up, i had a young chav, telling me i should drive it through a field and get it muddy Not what i want to do

AND i have one of those families who are very petty, I've bought a new car and i want it on the drive, theres space for 6 or more cars, but they're refusing to move there cars a couple of feet to allow space for mine..

My dads range goes in the garage on the right so theres no problem with his, but my cousin decided to park his in front of the garage so my dad couldn't get his in My dad been the way he is, decided to block my cousins golf in as well as parking 6 inches of my aunties A1, so i thought id be the nice guy here and park 6 inches off the A1 What they don't realise, their cars are 2 wheel drive, so a trolley jack under their rear axle and it won't take much to move them A Range Rover and A Defender take a lot more also my phone is on silent with the vibrate off.. FAMILIES AHHHHHHHHHHHHH
