Yesterday me and my father attended the 4x4 show at donnington. Where I purchased a Mantec RAI and some MUD seat risers.
Hopefully I will get the RAI fitted at the weekend, as well as doing the conversion to make it fully water tight |

So at the weekend i did some moving for my grandfather who is un well. I borrowed a trailer from a friend and so i could move the rubbish.
I moved three trailer loads, each trailer weighed over 2tons. The defender had no trouble towing at 60mph. Click image to enlarge My brother has also bought a DIY powder coating kit. So I've had the bracket for the RAI powder coated black. Interesting you removed them. I was thinking of taking mine off, painting neatly with waxoyl or similar and then replacing... Then get plenty of acf50 behind them

Had a phone call from the dealer today to say that Land Rover had gave them the go ahead to start the warranty work on my defender. So at present it, is at the paint shop under going a water ingress test, what ever that means. ...

The 'water ingress test' is a very technical term for some bloke with a hose pipe squirting water at your Defender - whilst some very junior oik is rummaging about inside trying to spot where the water is coming in.
The man with a hose will probably have undergone a specialist training course on how to put his welly boots on the correct feet, turn a tap on and off and complete a full Health and Safety appraisal in triplicate. Hope you get a positive result! |

She is still at the body shop, apparently they're having a hard time fixing the problems
