83,000 miles give me a little more faith in the Puma engine.
At least when mine arrives I have the satisfaction that L/R will keep it up and running well for three years. ![]() They must be getting them about right by now ![]() Andy. |

Had look see on the Transit forum and some Mk7's are up to 200k presuming that engine is pretty similar. Original Member Pie n Pea Club.

My Company MK7 2.4 TDCi 140cv Transit VAN is near 310.000km, still perfect engine, no smoke, no oil consumptions, big torque, still 170km/h (real on GPS, 180km/h on tacho.....) full charged into highway........ Discovery 5 td6 HSE Stornoway Gray Outback Engineering Limited Edition

I don't think I'm really in the same league here.
I've had mine since 07 and have only managed 15k miles ![]() I use it every day and, until recently, it was our family car. I think with a young family I don't really get to travel very far very often and most of my commute to work is by train. I'm probably wearing the engine out faster than any of you high-mileage types ![]() + New Defender 110 First Edition |
