Ciao Fabio Are you sure about that? If you blank the EGR (I disconnected mine months ago, yes with yellow MIL lamp always on) you have the MIL ON: 1. Ecu read more MAF value (MAF signal higher but in range) 2. Ecu read more MAF value (EGR Orifice restricted) and, if you disconnect the EGR 3. 2 errors about ecu circuit functionality check and.... when you "by-pass" the clutch switch, the Ecu is too much "rapid" when you push and/or release the throttle and the transmission are "under attack" what do you think about that? Exhaust Gas Recirculation valve: in same condition part of exhaust gas are "deviated" to the inlet manifold; in this way the combustion have less oxygen and the combustion temperature are a little low. less temperature means less NOx productions Discovery 5 td6 HSE Stornoway Gray Outback Engineering Limited Edition IID Pro MV License |

Ciao Dgardel
i don't have disconnected the EGR!!!!!!! The button disconnects only the pedal cluch switch.

Fabio, it's "sound" strange, that the status of the clutch switch will able to close the EGR. I have a data OBDII recorder and, during the weekend (I hope), I' test this so we'll be sure about the EGR status when we operate on clutch switch... Sorry to bump this thread, but how about placing a resistor on the sensor cable? So rather then finding the out of bound values it thinks it's normal?

Pm'd Pete of BAS last week with exactly the same question - With the blanking plate fitted there was currently no resolution with regards to the MIL light coming on yet was the answer.
