Thanks for the tips. My heater isn't that bad, takes a while to get there. Is it just the top dash off? 1999 Defender TD5 110 Regards John M0VAZ Econet Station 48 no clock |

It's much easier to take the top, centre stereo section and passenger side centre section completely off (it's not that much extra work and makes it all a lot easier) and just unscrew and let the clocks dangle as you will need to pull about on the inner bracing to get the wheelboxes in as they are fiddly.

Also the drivers side vent needs taking out to replace the drivers side wheelbox.

hi gavin, i was the first owner and had the vehicle delivered directly to j e engineering in coventry. they did the koni suspension, remap, intercooler and silicon hoses plus the lights in the grille and the rev counter in the dash (clock moved next to rear view mirror); bourton land rovers cut the side windows into the hardtop, plus cut the rear bulkhead down, fitted the checker plate, rear nas lights and step, too. have you kept all the ICE - its not ground breaking loud but has good bass and treble. the sports exhaust was by twisted and just makes you want to drop a gear and go i miss my old truck |
