I also replaced the front dash-mounted speaker with a pair of JBL GTO series, made a *huge* difference Smile

What power output do those have? Thumbs Up

IIRC 35W RMS and 100 Peak.

But the quality of high frequencies is sooooo much better!

I've just ordered one of these, will only be of use to iPhone holders, but after weeks of searching I felt this seemed sensible as I can use my existing iPhone TomTom app and all other apps, plus when I leave the car, there's not really a stereo to nick:)

I've got the Oxygen unit, the idea is nice but the reality is not so great Sad

You download two apps, one for the radio, the other for sound adjustment, the first problem is you have to come out of the radio app (so radio turns off) in order to go into the sound app so you cant hear the changes you make.

The second is, in 'portrait' mode in the Puma your hand hits the iphone when changing gear.

Thirdly, you cant listen to the radio whilst doing anything else on the iphone ie navigation

Its also quite bulky in the dash, as I said, nice idea but not as thought out as it could be

I'm not sure Matt, I can't find anything on their site to show how to do this, or even if it's available.

Matt, would you be so kind to post a solution for upgrading the old firmware, in case oxygen sends an answer? I have one of the first units too, therefore no parallel usage of radio and other apps.
Thanks very much in advance!

I am getting rid of the Pioneer and fitting the Philips CED229. Does the same thing, but has SD card, which means no obstruction for the LCD screen Thumbs Up
