looking at the picture of the engine blanket ... how do you use it ?

> are these your modifications or land rovers ?
> do you take it off when you start the engine ?

blanket - rather common mod here... there are many sizes for different cars, it's made somewhere in Russia

you don't need to take it off at all, it's heavy enough to keep form.
use - as shown on photo - you tidy put it in and close the bonnet, that's all. It's approved for use in cars and made for that.

material - some type of fiberglass. Personally I use it second winter and very pleased with it.

the problem is inside the pipe not outside.

there is an inline fuse that I will remove until the Nordic trip
