Sorry, do not know that information, but also unless you had it from new, it could have had a box change during its life.
On the Ashcroft website there is good information : https://ashcroft-transmissions.co.uk/product/lt77/ Go to the Technical page. 1988 90 Hard Top, 19J Diesel Turbo, Shire Blue - Restoration ongoing 2012 90 CSW, 2.2TDCI, Santorini Black |

Ok, thank you.
One more question: does the original engine oil dipstick come with 'L,' 'N,' and 'H' markings? I noticed that when I filled about 6.5 liters, the dipstick showed the level over 'N' and just slightly below 'H.' 'H' should mean 'High,' right? I'm a bit confused since the manual says the capacity is 6.7-6.85 liters. |

AFAIK, the dipstick was the same from early 2.5 normally aspirated till the 200tdi, so that is correct.
I usually follow the dipstick. The WSM could be stating a fully emptied engine, which is not possible during an oil change. 1988 90 Hard Top, 19J Diesel Turbo, Shire Blue - Restoration ongoing 2012 90 CSW, 2.2TDCI, Santorini Black |

N is Normal, but I would not be too concerned if it is anywhere between the L and the H marks.
Closer to the H mark will give you more time before the oil reaches the L mark ![]() 2012 90 CSW, 2.2TDCI, Santorini Black |

Hi Bro Dinnu, how are u? hope doing well.
Just want to double confirm with you—does the front axle (differential pinion oil seal) use the same part number FTC4785G? I noticed some leaks from that area (as shown in the picture). ![]() Click image to enlarge Also, does the handbrake drum use the same part number FTC4785G? There are some droplets around the handbrake drum area as well (as shown in the picture). ![]() Click image to enlarge Thank you. |

Differential pinion seal - see item 11
https://parts.jaguarlandroverclassic.com/p...and-rover/ https://www.lrworkshop.com/diagrams/land-r...0434_52598 Transfer case rear output seal - see item 7 https://parts.jaguarlandroverclassic.com/p...and-rover/ https://www.lrworkshop.com/diagrams/land-r...ange_53758 In both cases it is advisable to check the flanges that the land where the seal runs on is not pitted or worn. 1988 90 Hard Top, 19J Diesel Turbo, Shire Blue - Restoration ongoing 2012 90 CSW, 2.2TDCI, Santorini Black |

Just to add to that, I don't think I have ever changed a diff pinion seal without needing to change the flange as well. The first one I did on a 2.4 petrol 110 I went to the local dealer for the seal and he basically refused NOT to sell me the flange! He said if I took it out and really didn't need it he would take it back, he was right....

It is critical that the seal runs on a perfectly smooth surface otherwise it will just damage the seal and start leaking again. Normally when the seal has failed the surface has already become pitted/worn so you have to change the flange as well to give the seal a clean surface to run on.
