Bit confused on what you are trying to achieve. Disco rear axle is weaker than a Salisbury, it would be a down grade.
If the axles aren't broke, why bother messing with them? |

I want to build two 300tdi spec 110 axles from what I have.
I have two axels under my 300tdi 110. I want another pair built from the same parts. Again, I'm aware that, to achieve this on the rear, I can keep the casing and diff, and the rest needs to be replaced (I could use the hubs from the disco axel, but none of the other parts are the same) But I do not know about the front one. Obviously as-is, the shafts, CV joints etc are all different, but I'm unsure if the disco ones can be used. I'm unsure if the diff needs to be changed. Etc. So, I know what to do with the rear. Maybe forget I mentioned that. It's the front that I'm unsure about. |
