Retrofit 11.4 Pivi Display
After clearsight retrofit I found this on CCF files:

I really like bigger screen, so... started to investigate about connectors used, pin's, etc...

At the same time found display and plastic trims on ebay...

I spend lot of time to build connector, specially second conector to use pins from current connector.
Grey connector to new screen is this one:
JAE ELECTRONICS / MX34012SF1
pins M34S75C4F1 (I buy also pins f2 and F3, just in case)

And for second connector, to use current pins, this one is valid:
BMW 61132359994 61136925611 (blue/green in picture, found on ebay)
And yes, I buy a lot of diferent connectors because I was not sure wich one is valid Laughing

let's go...

Reach some screws are quite difficult... better have long torx screw drivers!!!

And finally after some panic moments, blank screen after change CCF MultiCAN 641... solved with hard reset of Pivi (hold buttond around 10 seconds)

Done!!!!

Need to put everthing in place (not easy), and another retrofit done.

I have the big screen from factory, but I must say that this is a brilliant post with all of the information one might need to make the upgrade. Well done!

Shocked I can now understand why the retro fit is so expensive from third party providers.

Great effort, but I'm happy with the smaller screen. Thumbs Up Eiger Grey MY23 D250 SE with bits. Known as Noddy.

Hats off for doing it but it seems a huge effort for not a lot of benefit over the small screen. 24MY 90 D250 HSE, Tasman Blue

Great write up!

Would you be willing to produce and sell the wiring harness adapters?

Do you have any advice as to which eBay country sites might offer the best chance to find second hand screens?

In another forum, it was mentioned that Land Rover tools are required to enable the 11.4” screen. Based on your experience it appears that you only needed the Gap IID tool to accomplish necessary coding. Is that correct?

Hi,

well drop me a PM and I try to help you with connector, I got some spare pieces to built at least another set...

I found all pieces in ebay UK, from a damaged vehicle, in a very good conditions. I guest the key is be aware or setup an automatic search. Be aware that Jaguar use same display... i.e. all these references are valid:

T2H42943, T2H42943, MX6319C279AE, LR144528, T2R72241

I got under my radar this unit at good price (all plastic trims need to be buyed), but not sure about this page:
https://used.lr.parts/product/t2h42943-tou...2017-used/

or you could ask your LR dealer, but will be expensive Confused

And yes, with GAP IID tool is enough!!!

Sorry for not starting the new thread, I have an issue while retrofitting 11.6 inch screen.
Once I install it and changed the ccf to 11.6 alpine, I found on the screen - placeholder images.
Did u face the same issue?
Does anyone know how to get rid of them?
