Ok. I have never done this, but what I can tell you is that this is the same injection pump (VE Bosch pump) that was fitted to late 80s and 90s Dodge Rams and a host of other cummins powered vehicles. So, an injection pump specialist on your side of the pond will be able to advise you.
The alternative is to drop Mike at Britannica Restorations (Montreal) a line as he has decades of experience with these pumps and is almost in your timezone. Hope that helps. |

Sorry not knowledgeable about those injection pump, but I think that part adjusts the pump timing. 1988 90 Hard Top, 19J Diesel Turbo, Shire Blue - Restoration ongoing 2012 90 CSW, 2.2TDCI, Santorini Black |

Changing the O ring will not affect the settings – do not back the pump head right off and if at all possible mount the pump vertical to avoid dropping and parts internally – there are a few tiny parts in there!
Best get Bosch original parts – do it once – do it right! Mike thank you for brother Mike. |

I believe it is something like an extension for the reverse selector rod. Should be a small oval gasket between the two components. LT77s box if it is the original 200tdi gearbox.
