I got what I reported after a Pivi reset. Going to have to look around some more and see what else might be involved. I also tried assist 3 which was not it at all.

Great info. I will give that all a try and report back on the findings. Was planning on looking through all the CCF’s to see what I could find. Will start with those.

This got me close but it's still not working. I get the icon for tow assist now, but when I enter the tow assist screen it says "Reserved" and the start button is disabled. It may not look like it in the photo but the start button is not selectable.

Yes. You can't get to that screen unless you have a trailer attached.

There is another setting

MultiCAN-696 ATCM TA2 Switch
Tow Assist 2 feature selection switch not fitted

But I haven't looked to see what the options for that are, unfortunately I haven't got a trailer here to test Cheers Ian

Thanks for the help, I hadn't seen that setting. When you search within the app it only returns results where the keyword is in the setting description and not the values.

I enabled both of these and unfortunately it's still the same.

MultiCAN-696 ATCM TA2 Switch
Tow Assist 2 feature selection switch not fitted

MultiCAN-696 ATCM Rotary Switch
ATCM Rotary Switch not fitted

I left all of the changes activated. It seems some settings take a sleep cycle to take effect. I'll post back if it magically starts working.

Still a work in progress then Confused

I don't know whether you know or not but if you don't want to scroll through all the options when sitting in the car you can email a complete ccf list to yourself. Check the video I made below.

I have printouts of my CCF file and compare them to other ones that people have sent to me, so I can look for any changes. I use a mac and a programme called Kaleidoscope which lets you compare two or more files and highlights the differences. Thumbs Up

You have exactly the same as I had when I tried over the weekend. What I find interesting is I had that result with just making the change to MultiCAN 579. I went and looked today to see about changing 505 and 635 and I did not find them listed in my CCF files. I will look again later but I am pretty sure they are not there which I find interesting. I have added the new suggestions to my list and will try them soon as well along with looking through all my CCF’s to see what else I can find.

I was wondering if that was maybe the case. This is new to me so still learning. Should have asked. I was planning on looking back at the instruction manual on the unsupported function. Will give it a try.
