Quick question to those that have expressed an interest so far....
If ultimately the dates work for me next year, would anyone have a major objection if I wanted to bring my eight year old son along ? Not sure if I will yet but just thought it was better to ask. Jon - 110 td5 [sold]. Currently Defenderless. |

James, a quick question.
Not knowing the lanes, are they driveable that early in the year without risk of damage to the lanes? If hardy/rocky/sustainable lanes we would not have any problems with that date. Hope you do not mind the question. PM if you can put up with 'Are we there yet Dad?' why should we object? Brendan PS where would be the approximate start and finish point? Just thinking of getting home on the Sunday night. |

no problem with it being a family trip as far as we are concerned.
Brendan - all the lanes we have looked at so far are rock and or gravel based so it wont be a problem from a track perspective. Snow aside of course. Cheers James 110 2012 XS Utility 130 2011 M57 bespoke Camper 90 2010 Hardtop 90 M57 1988 Hardtop |

Thanks for that confirmation James.
Start and finish ponts??? If deepest darkest SW Wales is finish point we might have to consider another overnight stop. Sounding good to me Brendan |

I know where that is as I am not far from this track I could check your routes out before the event to check they are 'open' and passable the week before if you want Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Admin note: this post has had its images recovered from a money grabbing photo hosting site and reinstated 130's have feeling's as well you know |

Hi Andrew, cheers for the offer, we are planning to go up and check them just prior anyway, will keep you posted.
We also have a local with a vast knowledge of the areas who will be coming along with us, i think he has the RoW people on speed dial! Cheers James 110 2012 XS Utility 130 2011 M57 bespoke Camper 90 2010 Hardtop 90 M57 1988 Hardtop |

So many people set up a laning trip and have the fun of recce ing the route and the enjoyment of setting up the day, plus the big ego boost of being in charge, whilst I agree it,s good to get people out there and enjoying Greenlaning too charge as an amateur is morally wrong. The pot noodle challenge is a premium event not a green laning trip by the way. I applaud the idea of getting together and doing a trip and introducing people to greenlaning I absolutely don,t agree with charging unless you are a registered business / company, I could be wrong as always but.
the generosity hospitality Tuition I have recieved from fellow members on this site is heart warming and I think once we start down the fellow forum member charging g Each other for this type of thing then we start to see the rot set in Pete Original Member Pie n Pea Club. 110 HCPU Tipper |
