Well yes, I have chosen a colour scheme... chose one on Monday, chose a different one Tuesday, Wednesday yes you guessed it a different one.
Every time I see a nice defender, I change my mind to the colour of the defender I've just seem.... It is a problem because the bulkhead will be painted the end of this week and I need to choose a colour, just a note my calipers are going to be orange with black logos...... these ones Burnt Orange Click image to enlarge White Keswick Green There is a Metallic British Racing Green that LR use on the range rover and it's lovely, this is the closest I can find on a defender Click image to enlarge Red Click image to enlarge |

Have you any gauge drivers? There are small black boxes with PCS stickers on them. Andy

you should have a Chevy performance loom for the LT1.It will have a good few wires labelled for rev etc but you just ignore them. Then with the PCS kit you need the loom and gauge drivers which pick up the oil temp rev etc. You basically fool the LR ECU to think all is normal engine wise by disconnecting a few wires and then the LT1 ECU and Gauge driver do the rest. The guys that got you the PCS shifter should be able to get you the bits that are specific for the defender install but give me a shout if you get stuck. Andy

So my plan with the electronics is to use either the kit from Futuranet or from Nick at RW engineering. My info is they both replace the LR ECU. I'm also integrating a TPMS system just to make things really easy. Both options I'm told are all I need.
They both have pro's and con's but the RW solution has a seperate display installed into the cluster to provide lots of other info such as gears, temps, pressures etc etc..... I'm not sure if I've got anything right as I'm strill trying to put this together so please keep your advice coming. Hope the above makes sense. I am installing AC. |

A M57TU/N57 is capable of 450HP when tuned so I cant see how the TD5 can realistically match that? |
