My week started off ok and then on Tuesday morning at work when i was having my 10am grub stop, i noticed a sort of a shine on the rubber mat, so i got the mat out and had a closer look and cleaned it up, it was a bit " oily " i thought i had stepped on some and my boot had put it there, so i kept a close eye on it the next few days and Thursday morning there was a bit more than normal so i felt behind the clutch pedal arm and yes' wet with clutch fluid, so on the phone to my indy and he said bring it over Saturday morning and we will put a new one on Very Happy so i had to top up the fluid a few times but no big deal Wink So i went over yesterday to put it on and all went ok, which was good Very Happy Very Happy
As i was there and saving me doing the small job, i asked if he could put on the new vacum pipe and the new non return valve as well Wink he was meant to have put one on when millie had gone in for her service, but he told me there was a back log from the factory so he couldn't get one, so it was luck that i went into our LR dealer and got one Thumbs Up
So after quite a bit of driving since the vacum pipe was put on, it seems that my brake issue has been sorted out Mr. Green
i will see how it goes over the next week to make sure Wink
So........ don't count on a air pipe if it looks all ok if you have a problem, just put a new one on to make extra sure Wink Very Happy

At the moment i am one happy bunny Very Happy Very Happy 1996 Golf Blue 300Tdi 110 Pick up.

Yesterday (Friday ) millie went in to my indy for some work to be done that he could not fit in the last time she went in, so the first thing was the back diff cover, i seem to go through these as the threads for the drain/top up plug wear and gets difficult to tighten it up to the right tightness, so i had to find something that would last a bit longer and this has replaced the old one and i had to wait an extra 2 weeks as having it in black is not to common, most owners prefer the bright red Rolling Eyes .....................

Then the next items to get replaced have been on since new and with the weight of the winch and bumper over all of those years the front had dropped allot, you don't think it would be much but as you can see from the last 2 pic's, it's at least 2" Very Happy .......................................

New springs...............

Now millie sits level Very Happy Very Happy 1996 Golf Blue 300Tdi 110 Pick up.
