So after a good 5 week bedding in period for the brakes
![]() ![]() ![]() At the same time i had this put back on with a brand new one....................................... ![]() Click image to enlarge The reason for taking it off in the first place was that she was ok until the first viscous went and from then on they would last just over a year, so after the third or fourth one went i put the kenlow fan on. Earlier this year i started having problems with it and it finally packed up on the wales trip, so i bodged it so one fan would work when i connected the wires when she needed to be cooled down, so now i'm back to the old skool way ![]() Other than the above she going a treat ![]() 1996 Golf Blue 300Tdi 110 Pick up. hey mate, I found the box for the ipad thing. I took a photo, but I can't post it from this device.
Anyway, it's a Dension Ice Link One - I had a quick google and it seems to be discontinued, though there might be some used ones on ebay? I also tried googling ipod FM cradle, and got some stuff that's close.... I guess I must have bought and fitted this back in 2008, or possibly even earlier... so the way electronics go these days it has to be really obsolete.... Sorry! |

Hi Clayton,
Definitely a 'generic' item - any car. The one you linked to would be fine but it was obviously missing the screw-in attachment to hold the cradle. They came with air vent clips too. Mine's still in the packet/box because it didn't work in the Landy. There's no moving parts, so I can't see any problem with getting a good, used one. Maybe the plug might be a bit worn if it was used a lot. Depends how someone used it. I went for a dedicated car ipod, so it stays permanently attached. Obvioulsy ipod are old tech now - surprising that such a thing would become obsolete so quickly.
