Missed this thread totally somehow!!

I think this is a great idea! Would really be a nice event, and if well planned and executed, would be a huge success!

I'm more than happy to help with the organisation etc, and anything else that needs doing!

This look likes an interesting idea - from reading it all, the problems seem to be Land Rover/Sollihull/Gaydon etc and the amount of cars arriving there. Could be a possibility to do it in reverse - have the final destination Red Wharf bay, with lots of smaller convoys converging along the way from all over the UK / Europe, those in the South East and centre of England could pass Sollihull on the way. A sort of 'return to Land Rovers roots' trip....

Today I implemented the design onto the webapplication. I also did the full translation as I only did a dutch version until now.
So basics are ready.
Just need to add some basic content and it's ready to put online.

Also something that I think would help, is to somehow increase visibility of the thread here on the forum - make it easier to find - I myself stumbled upon it by chance (basically can't sleep tonight, as you may have guessed by looking at the time of the post). Maybe there are quite a few new members who would love to join such an event as well but don't even know about the thread.
