The Honda bit Probably stems from when LR and had a deal on disco 1’s with Honda for them to be sold in some markets.
From memory, it was a Honda Crossroad? But maybe wrong, was just a rebadged disco |

I was driving along on one of those really cold days last week when I noticed an icy draught coming from between the seat and the cubby box, so yesterday I set about curing it.
After having a bit of a poke around, I realised that I could see daylight when looking down at the joint where the B pillar meets the back of the seat box. There is a small block of foam here that's clearly intended to seal this joint but it's both too small and positioned incorrectly. It was the same on both sides, too. Well done Land Rover 
Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge It's an awkward little corner but I hacked the foam out with a screwdriver, cleaned it up with white spirit and then patched each hole with three layers of sticky back neoprene: Click image to enlarge The daylight still visible in that photo is forward, back into the cab. I also took the opportunity to plug or seal all of the various holes in each B post starting with these 3D printed plugs for the hinge bolt access holes: Click image to enlarge I bought these from CSI at Peterborough a few years ago and they've languished in the garage ever since as I'd forgotten about them. Anyway, they're easy to fit as they just snap into position: Click image to enlarge Above and below the top of those are a couple of M8 threaded holes. I've no idea what they're for - maybe something to do with the manufacturing process? Anyway, I cleaned the paint out of the threads with a tap and then plugged them with some M8 button heads and rubber washers: Click image to enlarge Then finally, there are a couple of square holes near the base of the pillar that I covered with some neatly cut pieces of duct tape, I'd run out of square bolts

Ah duct tape. The engineers favourite!

Well done Darren and you are exactly right on the foam in-fill blocks at the base of the B Pillar 
I found this out on my wife's 110 when spraying Dinitrol... luckily before too much had reached areas where it was not intended... (the pre main application mist coat was easy to remove before drying) Also interesting to see your approach to making good the generally half finished appearance Land Rover 'decided' was good enough in this area, i'm liking the 3D printed inserts and will add these to the 110 to-do list. Thanks again for sharing your experiences... we follow better informed...  SKIP
