My Td5s (muddy and shiney)
Hi folks,

Thought id upload some pics of my Defenders.

They are both quite a contrast to one and other Laughing

I have built up / restored the both of them and also painted them etc. They have both been well worth the graft.

The one I use for alot of offroading and trials events within the Scottish Land Rover Owners club is ''Pickaxe''

Shes a 1999 model, Alive tuned, hybrid turbo, also running alot of challenge spec kit, front and rear winches plus front and rear lockers etc. Great fun machine!

My other Defender is a 2001 model and is a full on road going machine only doing the odd green road run now and again. Shes also Alive tuned and has had an Ashcroft Transmissions auto conversion with upgraded 1.2 transfer box etc. Lovely comfy cruising machine!

Anyways, here are some pics of them. Im sure you can guess which is which! haha

Oh that is a good video! thank christ I had the front and rear lockers on, place was like a swamp Laughing
The green Landy in the video I had to winch out after video was taken. He had blown his rear diff.

yep it cut up very quickly.....the 90 had blown the diff on sat afternoon. not the best move to even try that bog in 2wd...lucky it didn't brake the front axle

look forward to the montage.

the raf one is here. shows the weather we had and terrain

Garelochead to hamilton racecourse day 2.

lots of different lr and other makes 4x4 is always good to watch

Aw yeah totally! loved all the offroad sites. I hadnt done M/M for a few years and this years start and finish venues were ideal too.
