Thanks Clayton As it happens, a conversation last weekend may see more drastic changes on the LR front in the not too distant future. Watch this space Darren

Sorry Procta, I completely missed this one. I haven't got instructions, I'm afraid, but it's really simple: turn each eyelet sideways and push it through the appropriate wheel nut hole from the front. Once through, turn it square on to the strap again and pull tight against the back face of the wheel. The eyelet spans across the hole to support the weight. You can just see them on the inside of the wheel on the top picture. Hope that helps. Heh, heh, you'll have to wait and see, Clayton. Nothing is definite just yet. In the meantime though, I've got a couple of weeks off in early June, which will allow me to progress a couple of projects! Darren

Hello folks,
It's been a while since I updated this thread and even a few months since I was last on the forum, as life has been hectic at Anorak Towers. New jobs for both my wife and myself, one child finally through his driving test (the other passed at the end of last year) and both children now dispatched to university. I now finally feel able to catch my breath! All of this change has seen us consider our fleet needs and sadly the time has come to sell my 110. Over the last twenty years my Land Rover ownership has swung to and fro between Defenders and Discoverys and I've decided it's time for one of the latter again. In due course, probably in the new year, I plan to look for a 90 again as a toy but a Discovery 4 will become my 'daily'. With all of that in mind, I've begun to prepare my 110 for sale. Mainly this will consist of taking stuff off that I either want to sell separately or keep for a future project, although today I have repainted the galv. front bumper, which was beginning to look a bit tired: Click image to enlarge The spotlights and brackets have been removed, although the wiring, including the uprated loom, remains in place and so I've marked it up for a future owner to use: Click image to enlarge I've also removed the steering guard and so with it all back together, the front currently looks like this: Click image to enlarge I spent an age removing the various stickers that I'd applied and also the rear grab handles, so the back is looking quite spartan: Click image to enlarge Tomorrow will hopefully see the NAS lights swapped for standard ones and the wheel spacers removed, as well as a host of other minor details. Look out for stuff coming up for sale that won't be useful on my next project, some of which never even got as far as being fitted! The roll back continued today with the replacement of the NAS side lights and indicators with standard items, and removal of the wheel spacers:

Haha, I've always liked them, plus I think they improve visibility from the rear. However, it's being returned to near standard in preparation for sale. Darren

It will but I'm just not using it in the way that I originally intended anymore. I plan to get a 90 of some description in due course and convert it to a soft top, which is something that I've always wanted to do Darren
