hi andrews, i saw the intercooler hose, and there are no split.
there are soot exhaust, between the turbo and manifold,

do you think, with the nakatanega TD4 turbo manifold joint , it will be ok ?

I have noticed a slight power loss and slight increase to consumption, it must come from the defective joint

regards, nico

We have solved this before by removing the turbo and having the flanges machined.

Do you have photos once machined flanges?
For I am novice in mechanics, and I do not see what you call'd machined flange.
I saw your post with your turbo but my flight is not the same place, it is between the turbo and exhaust manifold, not between the decat pipes and turbo

Ooh yeah, we have replaced exhaust manifolds that have cracked too.
Here's a pic of the flange that you can see has trails of soot escaping, this is the flange we have machined, as well as the manifold side of the turbo.

hi

you changed the exhaust manifold?? Confused Confused
How much does it cost.
Now with the new collector, you have no worries?
You have put a stronger joint, or the original land rover joint?

regards, nicolas

We are at this very moment 'modifying' this very car and exhaust, I'll put pictures up when I've finished it.
