Has anyone managed to find the setting for disabling the auto shutdown?

I hate when you open the door and the car turns itself off, erasing any terrain response modes etc.

(NB. I’m NOT talking about start/stop) Cheers, David

For those trying to get ACC that don't currently have it, here's what I have tried so far without real success. These are changes I made comparing my CCF file to Ian's.

Setting: Value [Original Value]
EUCD-075 Integrated Vehicle Dynamic Control: IVDC (Incl. Enhanced ESP And CDC) [Not Supported]
EUCD-097 Forward Collision Warning: Not Supported [Without Forward Collision Warning]
MultiCAN-503 IntelCruiseCtrl: Not supported [ICC not Fitted]
MultiCAN-580 PTCruiseFitment: ACC with Queue Assist fitted [Normal Cruise Fitted]

I did verify that even my Base model has the radar module behind the Land Rover logo. You can even test it with the IID tool in Live Values. So, the hardware is in place, just not the settings/software.

For those that have ACC, do you also have regular cruise control as well? The videos and documentation I've seen so far hint at switching between Speed Limiter/ACC and not regular cruise control. I'm wondering if disabling regular cuise may help...IDK.

Another line to check (my 2020 110 NAS HSE was factory fitted with ACC) is this - my setting included. Kind of counterintuitive - like many other entries in the CCF, honestly - but that's how it is in mine:

EUCD-023 Cruise Control
Without cruise control

Unrelated, but here is how to modify the front signature LEDs behavior - if yours is equipped with them of course - to keep them on while the turn signals or hazard lights are operating (that one always bothered my... symmetry OCD on the Defender and most other Land Rovers - I am sure there is a law that states the front DRL/signature halos need to dim when turn signals are on, but I doubt I'll get ticketed for that):

Mine doesn't work either. As a matter of fact, the setting in the center screen that appears under the Safety and Security tab, as you show in the above screenshot, turns off by itself about 5 seconds after I toggle it on. So, I suspect Walk Away Locking may be market or model year dependent. Same reason why I cannot seem to get Global Windows Close to operate on my 2020. In North America / US market, that features is disabled, and even if you turn toggle both Global Windows Open and Close on in the center screen settings, only Open works with the remote Changing the setting in the CCF has not made a difference for me. Perhaps there is another setting I am missing. 2020 NAS Defender 110 HSE 5-seater / Silver / Khaki / Black Pack / Black Roof / Satin Film / Cold Pack / Off-Road Pack / Advanced OR Pack / Comfort + Convenience Pack / Sirius + HD radio / HUD / Meridian Surround

After messing up ACC features I always got an error shown with the emergency braking system,
was not able to use even the normal cruise control. After restore all fine again.

Could you share what changes you tried for ACC?

I have been looking at the CCF for anything related to this list.
https://www.lrdefender.org/speed_control_d...n-630.html

Quote:
The adaptive cruise control system utilizes the following main components:

CCM
IPMA
Parking Aid sensors (quantity Cool
Park Assist sensors (quantity 4)
Side Obstacle Detection Control Module - Left (SODL)
Side Obstacle Detection Control Module - Right (SODR)
Right steering wheel switch
PCM
Electric throttle
ABS
Adaptive cruise control warning indicator - Displayed in the IPC.

The link to the doc is very interesting. HairyDan send me his CCF.

Both of us have these parameters set:

MultiCAN-792 DADC Module
DADC LL

MultiCAN-793 CCM Variant
MRRevo14F Fitted

I think this refers to the radar in the LR sign and the camera behind the center mirror.
So I believe the hardware must be there and the same.

I tried with these settings, but will try again with variations.
As said, I got "Emergency brake failure" and nothing worked with CC.

EUCD-023 Cruise Control
Without cruise control

-> a lot values - tried: Adaptive Cruise Control, Stop & Go, Brake Limit 2, With ACC To CC Toggling
-> but Hairy Dans CCF also shows "without", but he has it.
-> so I dont know, what this setting really is for.

Possible Values:
Adaptive Cruise Control
Adaptive Cruise Control Stop & Go
Adaptive Cruise Control Brake Limit 2
Adaptive Cruise Control Stop & Go, Brake Limit 2
Adaptive Cruise Control, With ACC To CC Toggling
Adaptive Cruise Control, Stop&Go, With ACC To CC Toggling
Adaptive Cruise Control, Brake Limit 2, With ACC To CC Toggling
->Adaptive Cruise Control, Stop & Go, Brake Limit 2, With ACC To CC Toggling

MultiCAN-503 IntelCruiseCtrl
Not supported
->ICC fitted

MultiCAN-580
PTCruiseFitment
Normal cruise fitted

Values:
No cruise fitted
Normal cruise fitted
ACC fitted
->ACC with Queue Assist fitted

Others I found are the MultiCAN-497 settings. I tried changing them,
but without any success. These are my defaults.

IntelSpdLimitISL
ISL fitted

DrvDrowsyMonDDM
DDM not fitted

IntelEmergBrkingCUIEB
IEB not fitted

FwdCollWarnAEB
FCW not fitted

But I have some kind of "Forward Collision warning" working,
if not messing it up with changing paramaters - hmmmmm....

As seen on the screens in "pllr"s post I have as standard
the "Adaptive Speed limiter" for traffic signs
and "Emergeny brake" with the 4 possible value in pivi (far to near)
under "Collision avoidance"

But not the "Adaptrive cruise control: Stop Gab" menu - yet Wink

So I think all needed hardware must be there.
We'll see what the sunday brings ....

Walk away locking only works on 2023 MY with the new BCM., according to Vulkan. So if your fuel cap doesn’t lock, walk away locking should. 110 XS 250 MY 23 Gondwana Stone, Cold climate pack and towbar

Mine is a 23.5

WalkAwayLocking works for me.
And my car has no locking fuel cap.
But I like to retrofit it sometime, if I get the actuator.

Or will that not work with the new BCM?

Can the new BCM also be the reason why enabling ACC does not work / gives the error with emergency braking assist ?

I’ve got the new BCM on my 23 MY and I’ve had ACC added by Venture Automotive in Bolton.
Vulkan have developed an add on unit for fuel locking but it is both expensive and difficult to fit. Simon at Powerful is also looking at it. 110 XS 250 MY 23 Gondwana Stone, Cold climate pack and towbar

My March build 23MY V8 doesn’t have the locking filler flap. As far as I can see the flap has the actuator fitted and wiring connected so it seems like it’s more about saving chips in the BCM.

And yes, Simon is on the case and also with some other retrofits. I’ve just installed his sunglasses holder. Bit fiddly but looks and works fine.

Side note, I was also playing with saving Start/Stop so it doesn't keep resetting to on when you get back in the car.

I can add one more to the list for those that don't already have it. The subwoofer was installed in my base model, but wasn't enabled.

And another one...

-Enable All Microphones
EUCD-126 Microphone = Four Microphones (Two Front & Two Rear)
Standard: Microphone (Driver Only)

This one switched from using the microphone in the dash to the four mounted overhead. This made a huge impact on sound quality when I was on the phone. 20MY Defender 110 Fuji White

Darn, I should have spent more time on this thread... Glad to see progress so far!

We still haven't figured out Adaptive Cruise Control but to our defense have been overwhelmed with work lately. We will get to the bottom of it in time...

Cheers! http://www.gap-diagnostic.com/
