Itโs been a while since I updated this thread almost a year, well now things have got back to a bit more normal for me I am refocusing on getting all the jobs done.
The 110 is first for some tlc and upgrades so dropped it off this morning at Broadlane land rovers in westbury Click image to enlarge To get the engine oil leaks all sorted followed by a full service. Then the work starts as I have had a few deliveries Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge As I still get some steering wobble at around 60mph I am changing the bushes for super pro as it is one of the last things I have not yet tried so panhard and radius arms being done the rest of the kit I will fit in due course. While they are off broadlane will clean and repaint before the new bushes go in. Then they will fit the Lof Power slave to make my clutch lighter and and the grease nipple so I can grease my squeaky clutch peddle. Replace all the track rod ends on my sumo bars with better ones which have poly boots these came from Gwyn Lewis as all of mine have split rubber boots and look tired. Then they will fit the slick shift kit and new turret, hopefully it will be a nicer drive when they are finished. This is phase one, hopefully bodywork, new doors, b pillar replacement and panoramic glass before the end of the summer. Andy Defender 90 Defender 110 XS Cupra 290 |

Handling is much better now and steering wobble gone ๐ it was the panhard rod bushes shot
So ince this work was done I have also had the starter miter fail on the 90 which has meant it has been parked for 3 months, must get round to having it fixed but needed the 110 to tow it to the garage and the rear shocks and shock bushes failed Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge As you can see below the shocks weโre doing nothing just the springs holding it. Click image to enlarge This meant the 110 was parked up for 8 weeks waiting on a special delivery which finally arrived ๐ Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Andy Defender 90 Defender 110 XS Cupra 290 |

Got my new fox shocks fitted on the rear this weekend the front will wait when it can go back to broad Lane to be fitted along with new alive springs etc.
Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Anyway took it for a test drive this evening the new fox are lovely much better ride for 20 minutes until the front passenger side brake line ruptured and I lost my brakes, I had to nurse it home along country lanes to get it home so back to no Land Rovers again until my local Indy can do the brake line in a couple of weeks Andy Defender 90 Defender 110 XS Cupra 290 |

Bad luck with the ruptured brake line, but hopefully by now you've got a landy to use now Andy 1996 Golf Blue 300Tdi 110 Pick up.
