Wow I did not realise how long it had been since I last updated this build thread.....

Well there has been good reason as I have been very busy the last couple of years clearing my late grandfathers house and ground before sale and to say he was a hoarder was an understatement

I even had to use my digger to clear cars and scrap out of his 2 acres

As you can see the defenders have been busy. Anyways I am going to update as much as I can remember I have done since last update and keep on this more regularly as I have a lot planned this year and and a garage for of bits to do on them both.

Nice bit of tidying up there and were any of the whole cars any good for spares ?

Good the defenders were being used well

Hi Clayton unfortunately they were all scraped except the Granada and scenic which went for bits. It looked a lot different when we had finished it did take most weekends over 3 years though

So I did manage some jobs on the 110 changed front discs and pad for EBC black dimple and grooved discs and new minted pads. Although I am now hankering after the LOF extreme 16” wheel brake kit.

I also changed the steering damper and added Gwynn Lewis heavy duty sumo bars and did the steering drop arm conversion

I have also upgraded the front seats to premium black and lunar seats from XS seats

So nearly caught up now one of the last jobs I’ve done was refurbished the tow hitch as it was a mess

Got to do the cross member next and start the new list of jobs and upgrades the first of which will be a LOF powerspec clutch and single mass fly wheel and their one piece half shafts as my clutch is slipping and I hate the clunk the half shafts make Andy

Having just done the single mass conversion and half shafts (i got the brit part ones) but they seem well made and the clunk is gone it feels like a new car to drive. How are you finding the Pirellis? I’m tempted to get them.

Really like the Pirelli tyres they handle well and give a bit more confidence in the wet they are just not easy to source in certain sizes at the moment. Andy

So had a busy weekend giving the landies a wash the 90 had not had one in a year

Then started changing lights around put smoked led on the 110

Then while changing from NAS led on the 90 back to standard size from the 110 found this birds nest tucked away

Just got to change the smoked on the front of the 110 and sort the new led fog and reverse light on 90 but like the new looks. Andy

She scrubbed up well Clayton need to get the new rear door I have painted and fitted
