I can see now why the 90 has to wait a bit longer

So I got the 110 back from the garage today after the new power spec clutch and smf were fitted the drive line feels good less clunking and the clutch is smooth on gear changes , the pedal is a little bit heavier but then my old clutch was very light in feel. The garage liked the quality of the Lof parts. Also got some brakes lines replaced including new flexi hoses. My wallet is a bit light now

Clutch was not ever so bad but definitely on the way out. Andy Defender 90 Defender 110 XS Cupra 290 |

Some interesting brake pipe routing there? Hopefully it’s just the photo and it only looks like it’s touching.

So for once I had a day off to myself so I spent it all working on the 110 managed to tick off some jobs I have been meaning to do for a while.
New side steps fitted Before ![]() Click image to enlarge ![]() Click image to enlarge ![]() Click image to enlarge As you can see the passenger side step was a complete mess with rust and roting through. ![]() Click image to enlarge ![]() Click image to enlarge ![]() Click image to enlarge ![]() Click image to enlarge ![]() Click image to enlarge Fitted with some stainless bolts aswell to help keep it tidy. Then I moved onto finishing the light switch on the front and fitted some light guards ![]() Click image to enlarge ![]() Click image to enlarge ![]() Click image to enlarge ![]() Click image to enlarge ![]() Click image to enlarge The light surrounds with eventually be painted black with a new black grill, anyway I am aching from battling with old nuts and bolts all day but pleased with the results. Great that you got it all done and those old side steps were really bad, don't think they would of lasted much longer
