I believe the side step are Land Rover ones they were the same as the previous on the 90 but in stainless steel, I have seen some advertised new before but they were around £600. I got mine off eBay for a lot less second hand. |

Hi Stacey not 100% sure yet, I will refurb and repaint it, black chassis and properly do the tub the same as the 110 bonetti grey. I want to make some sort of lid to make it water prof and mount a bike rack on top. Also put alloy wheels on etc. I will post a thread when I start. I have been watching your sankey build looks good. |

So yesterday for the first time this year I got some time to spend tinkering checked all the fluids etc and got round to fixing the washer jet on the 110 after in fell off over Christmas.
Click image to enlarge Initially I had thought it was a dash out job to replace the jet but after a quick search on here found out you could just replace the jet. Lucky I had a spare kicking about so set about separating the jet from the spindle. This took some time and plenty of but found that leaving it soaking in a bowl of hot water made leave ring the 2 parts apart easier so using a flat head screwdriver, bench vice and some good old brute strength it looked like this. Click image to enlarge I made sure that I glued it on this time so the ice would not force it off again took some force to push it on the shaft over the ridge to stop it coming off but all done should now be ready for the MOT this week. So today I actually got a day to spend doing some jobs on the 110, firstly decided to check and clean all the places where mud gets stuck on the chassis and could not believe the amount of crap under there half filled a bucket
Click image to enlarge Should help reduced corrosion of the chassis. Next changed lights to clear leds Before Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge After Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Also fitted some gloss black mirror covers. And what of the 90 well it has turned into a very expensive trellis for the clematis in the drive as the clutch has gone and it's been parked up for 10weeks while I decided on which clutch and saved the funds but have now ordered a clutchfix HD1 clutch and new valeo dmf and will be going in to be fitted in the next two weeks Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge |
