“Last” or “latest”?!
Are they LEDs Clayton? I ditched the originals as they were so bad at leaking and corroding, but I have round NAS style things - like in your top pic? Last one this year ( hopefully )
Yes, i to have the original ones like yours, they liked to fill up with water, then corrode and then not work so that's why i went to the led NAS ones but imo they are to big in roundness so i decided to go back to the original style and yes they are led 1996 Golf Blue 300Tdi 110 Pick up. Good stuff. Hopefully being LEDs they’ll last a bit longer than the originals, and they do look a bit more OEM.
I’d have to think about this now. I’ve had the round ones on for a while now and they’ve kind of grown on me. One to stick to the back of my mind and see what eventually emerges! Where i live and some places near where i live, they would have the items and the padlock away. I am not joking either, because some daft sod tried to hot wire a rolling jag shell, out side a garage. The thing was a donor car. Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back Success is 90% Inspiration and 4 minutes Preparation # you can make it! |

Millie is running well as on Saturday she went in for one of her 6,000 mile service's, all went well with a few more checks with being sorted then n there. She had to have new front brake pads as there was not much left on the old pads 1996 Golf Blue 300Tdi 110 Pick up.

Millie has been going ok until the Wednesday just gone, on my way home from work, i heard a sort of snap, clang noise, just like if your foot slips off of the throttle pedal, i thought never mind i will have a look when i get home as everything seems to be ok, but on my way home i noticed that the throttle pedal wasn't the same as not responding as it did before, but still ok to drive her, so on the way home i popped into my indy as he was still there, he had a good look and found it was the throttle pedal spring had broken, he said " iv'e never known one of these break " so he said he will look into it.
Today i had a call from him to say that he has got the new spring and i could pop in for him to change it over ( we weren't sure if we would have to have a complete new unit ) so i popped in and he fitted the new spring, he said this was a first for him, on the way home from him it did feel much better and more responsive, so all good and ready for tomorrow 1996 Golf Blue 300Tdi 110 Pick up. You won’t regret the LED, much longer life.
Pretty much fully waterproof and less prone to vibrational damage. Mines been fine for years now, never had the slightest problem. The biggest benefit is no water ingress. ⭐️⭐️God Bless the USA 🇬🇧🇺🇸 ⭐️⭐️ |
