Stagshaw did my full interior on the last 2 defenders
Www.stagshaw.com They use muirhead Scottish leather so you can pick and choose samples from the muirhead website. https://www.muirhead.co.uk/en/ From full dash and complete interior to just seats. |

I’m pretty sure @likeomg was looking for references of stagshaws leather work. Might be worth a PM if you’ve time.

I love the detail that has gone into this build, I have been just looking though it and hadn’t caught up for some time.
The devil is in the detail as they say, and you can definitely see the fine details are excellent here. Great build, and looking great so far. ⭐️⭐️God Bless the USA 🇬🇧🇺🇸 ⭐️⭐️ |

Shane, search on eBay for ... AN08 to 5/16" 7.9mm EFI Hardline Thread On Female Quick Fuel Connector a 3/8" 9.5mm version is also available and I cant remember which size I uses as I odered both. I used AN-08 fitting due to possible future upgrades but AN-06 would normally be plenty. PCM and JOW 240725 - I've dropped them emails, thanks for the tips. Jonny - 996 is a GT2 and it's proper mental Likeomg - thanks for the pictures, looks great. and as for first start it's a nice thought but I'm miles away ATM my focus right now is exhaust and cooling but they are both on a go slow. |

Hi All just a bit of advice needed, I've bought new wings (SP panels and OE sides) I'm just thinking about proccess of priming, painting, fitting up and installing.
a few questions... 1. should I fit the wing complete and with the inner arch before fitting to the car or is it best fitted piece by piece? 2. Do people put any form of sealant in the joints of the wings? 3. I could spray the inside/underside of the wings in Lizard skin sound deadening or would this be mad overkill? TIA |

1. Generally it will be fitted all as one piece I think, that way you adjust all the panel gaps etc as one unit.
2. No 3. Not sure you would hear the sound deadening effects, but would certainly paint it with something, epoxy primer maybe? |

I have always removed and reinstalled wings as one piece, but have been thinking about this for when time comes to fit mine back on my restoration...
I do not know on the puma plastic inner wings, but the old galvanized ones have the 4 holes, that bolt to the outer wing, slotted, so can have fore/aft adjustment. Having said that, there is no adjustments on the 2 self tapping that screw the inner wing to the outer wing just behind the headlamps. So it is really a tricky question, and perhaps there is no way which is better than the other. I was planning to fit the inner wings first... maybe makes fitting the clips and the electrical harness easier? I would not put sealer, but I sprayed wax between the joints. 1988 90 Hard Top, 19J Diesel Turbo, Shire Blue - Restoration ongoing 2012 90 CSW, 2.2TDCI, Santorini Black |

I would definitley fit all genuine wings on a build of your standard. Lizard skin definitley reduces druming of thin flat panels. I know you dont think its as good as Dynamat but wait until you drive it even TDI's feel much more solid and monocoqe like
