France
349,000km

Mostly motorway, commuting, and lugging large amounts of crap around the place.

France 2012 Defender 110 Puma 2.2 SW Keswick Green
122000 km = 75000 miles on a 110 CSW 2.2L

Everything is original - nothing has been replaced so far - only oil and filter changes according to service manual

And the output shaft has been replaced by an Ashcroft kit @ 55000 km by a JLR retailer

United Kingdom 2011 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 XS CSW Sumatra Black
Mileage: 72,000 miles

Year: 2011

Model: 2.4 110 XS.

Use: It's a combination of family car and my work van. So it might be just me with a load of boxes/goods or my wife and our two dogs. Mostly short, around London journeys.

Report: It was served at LR for the first service to keep the warranty valid but since then, hardly any services or proper maintenance. I do the easy stuff myself like oil/filter change, brake pads and have replaced the CVC, clutch switch and had the injector seals fixed. It's never actually broken down but it leaked so much oil down the M3 that the entire back and sides of the body were covered in it (injector seals) and the CVC triggered limp mode a couple of times. All in all, considering my lack of maintenance, it's been a really good car. It's carried a lot of weight and always got us to where we're going.

All major engine components (injectors, fuel pump, timing gear, starter, turbo, alternator, etc) are original. It's had a new vacuum pump, the engine harness repaired after chafing, new bearings in the fan hub and idler pulley, one new serpentine belt from new.

Also one radiator, two light switches, one dip/indicator switch, two front diffs, three rear diffs, one transfer box, three sets of rear halfshafts, one wheel bearing, three sets of tyres, six clutches, three VCVs, but incredibly it is still on the original factory-fitted output adaptor shaft (although I've probably jinxed it now).

It tries my patience, stresses me out, soaks up all my spare cash and quite a lot that isn't spare too, but it still makes me smile every time I drive it and I still absolutely love it! Thumbs Up

It's also consumed something in the region of 10,000 gallons of diesel at a total fuel cost in excess of £50k. Shocked

Did I say that it still makes me smile every time and I absolutely love it? And every journey is still an adventure.

Covid delayed the photo above by at least one year as well, due to the radical change in commuting, lifestyle, and so on. It has more than halved my annual mileage.
