United Kingdom 2012 Defender 110 Puma 2.2 XS CSW Firenze Red
As above .. ^ ^ ^

We are looking to do an extended trip in the 110 in the near future and would like to have a pair of sensors(MAF & MAP) as spares
We’ve a 2.2 (2012) and have 100,000 miles on the clock now so preempting the possibility or needing to replace the sensors before they let me down ...

Does anyone have the ford equivalent numbers for them for a 2.2 ?? Poppy - TDCI (Puma) 110XS 2.2 - Camper conversion - see the build here - https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic56530.html
Elgar -TDCI(Puma) 110XS Dormobile - now sold
Devon & Cornwall 4x4 Response - DC126

My local Ford dealers want £250 for the MAF sensor, £295+ VAT. I nearly fell off my chair.
My LR dealer is £150 MAF and £45 for the MAP.
Don’t understand all the hype about going FORD at those prices.

I managed to get a new old stock genuine ford one for £26 off ebay, so I guess it depends on where you look. LR branded seems more expensive than ford when I was looking online

LR has a lot better parts access than Ford does, I can't stand having to go on the phone and people not understanding what the part is etc etc.
Very little available online for Ford I found. $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R

I didn’t do an online search but phoned 5 different Ford dealerships in the country, they all gave me the same price on the same part No’s.
All the £25’ish fleebay parts are most definitely not genuine but then are they actually any different ?

Hi i have a problem with my 2011 2,4 throttle response
Throttle response specially in low rem’s i can push the throttle to the bottom and nothing is happening, sometimes it suddenly comes other times i have to apply the clutch to get the rem’s up when i am on the road doing 60 there is no problem, i have cleaned the MAF sensor and that helped for a bit but the problem is still there any one have a idea

About the map sensor references between 0 261 230 132 and 0 261 230 225 which are now 131 and 224 at the end. they are both possible to be mounted.

Is correct for a 2.4.
Mine was 0261230132 as factory fit.
Bosch seem to have changed the P/N’s at times but 0261230131
Is the current up to date spec for the 2.4 Motor in a Defender or Transit.

Mine has been fitted some time now, and running as good as ever. Zero issues.

Hi ! Thanks for the info!! much savings! I wanted to know if the replacement of Maf and Map needs updating to the Ecu. Thanks a lot again, Giulio from Tuscany !!

No worries my friend, no ECU work required.
Simply fit the parts and off you go, unless you happen to have the amber dash light.
If that was the case, you’d then need to have that cleared.

Thumbs Up $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R

Grazie Mille!!! ero convinto fosse necessario inserire i codici deli ricambi aggiornati tramite Obd2!

Thank you so much!!! I thought it was necessary to enter the spare parts codes updated through Obd2!

Oh my word.

Okay, so I just cleaned both sensors. MAP was totally covered in crap. It's not totally cleaned, as I didn't want to be too harsh with it, but the difference is noticeable with just the 5 minute clean I gave it. Ultimately I'll just order a new MAP anyway, but even a clean of the existing one shows the need to do this regularly.

Love this forum! Very Happy ‘08 Defender 90 Hardtop
