I was also going to say an E-Type Jag but seeing as thats taken I'd go for a Ford GT40 - not very practical but very very pretty car - oh and it would have to be in classic Gulf Light Blue and Orange Steve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)

If following the OP, then it would be mine but massively spec'd up to make it as comfortable/powerful etc as possible. Pushing Bowler bulldog but retaining the carpet and full length tub.
If following Lord Haggis's thinking, it suddenly becomes really hard. Landy's included, it's the only car I'd ever have as my sole car and I love mine. Something else that does everything, has 4WD, can carry clobber, won't entirely alienate Mrs Grenadier - who demands some luxury/comfort - and retains character (a D4 V8 does everything but does not quite have the character of a Def), then I think ........ 15mins later...... The Porsche Cayenne GTS Coupé. Just probably not in this colour.... Click image to enlarge Monsieur Le Grenadier I've not been everywhere, but it's on my list..... 2011 Puma 110DC - Corris Grey |

Herein lies the problem. That's Mrs Grenadier's favourite ever car, but it is somewhat 'limited' in its usage. As short as we are, that would struggle to hold our skis. I was thinking Aerial Nomad, massively tuned and then adapted to 4WD. Epic zombie busting do anything car. It would mess with Mrs Grenadier's hair though. Or as others have said a Works Rally or Dakar something or other. But Mrs Grenadier couldn't handle wearing headphones all the time and not having any leather.... Hence the Porsche. Interesting choice Procta. If I would have guessed for you would be a Metro 6r4 or maybe a T16 Click image to enlarge WARNING. https://drivetribe.com/p/a-rare-porsche-91...F8ADz6Kiyg 911 Safari could fit the bill. I saw one in Megeve, where else, with skis and snowboard on the roof. Some custom replicas even have roof tents. https://www.motor1.com/news/365600/safari-911-carry-porsche-roof/ Check out this account for inspiration: https://www.instagram.com/p/CHdBAIThkPe/?igshid=usq3v4jh3a35 WARNING. Good call on a T16!! Boyhood dream car.
I'd be tempted with a Porsche Singer... Click image to enlarge But not big enough, so Bowler CSP 575... Click image to enlarge One car garage is impossible, but being semi serious, one car in the real world would have to be a FFRR or D5, with some overland mods... I’ve no idea why, but I’d quite like a Rolls Royce Ghost.

Nice pair I think, but improved by swapping from the tdci to a Td5.
