I can see why. Fabulous motor. I’d also consider it’s ugly stablemate the Cullinan ahead of most SUV’s https://www.forbes.com/sites/ericadams/201...4d61f53907 WARNING. This post may contain sarcasm. |

I did toy with the idea of a 2005 Phantom a few years back, but the thing was a pup, which was reflected in its price but as I’m mechanically inept it would’ve cost a fortune to put right. Plus parking it at work or anywhere really might have been an issue as it was an extended wheelbase. 24MY 90 D250 HSE, Tasman Blue |

Only one car, money no object then I’d go for one of these but I’d need to employ a man to sort out the complex Masseratti bits and Citroen DS suspension under the bonnet. Citroen SM, preferably the ultra ultra rare Decapotable but the hard top would be fine
Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Decapotable version Click image to enlarge More info and photos here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Citroën_SM Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come 2020 D240 1st Edition in Pangea Green with Acorn interior. Now gone - old faithful, no mechanical issues whatsoever ever but the leaks and rattles all over the place won’t be missed! |

@Tim in Scotland. SM is such a classy choice and yes you will have a specialist mechanic on retainer 24/7.
@Muddy Big Dog. You will be the big dog with that monster. Good luck finding parking and trips to the shops. WARNING. This post may contain sarcasm. |

I would never be without the Landy or a pickup truck. The Morgan and the Landy would be the ideal two car life. It's also not really doable having just a Morgan when we have a greyhound and my wife has three horses... |

A lot of "dream" cars here, but so many are not everyday practical.
So I let my dreams slip away and choose the maid of all work that will do everything I want, with old school style and a bit of comfort. Fortunately I already have it. It has driven across Europe in comfort. It has roughed it over the Lakeland Fells on unmade tracks, and the next day cruised down the A1 in smooth V8 luxury. It has got muddy on rutted farm tracks. Click image to enlarge It has towed lots of vehicles and endless "stuff" on the Ifor. Click image to enlarge And then posed with the best of 'em. Click image to enlarge And yes, it also takes me to the supermarket. The icing on the cake is that it is appreciating in value. Cannot see a reason to look for anything else. That doesn't mean to say it is my dream car though...... |
