Well lockdown is well underway. so was thinking of the next upgrades that could be done.
Ideally would like a full length black roof rack. As per other post will upgrade headlight loom plus fit some better bulbs front. Plus will fit some rear work lights, ideally off the rack. Plus an upgraded reversing light. If funds really permit a webasto coolant heater would be nice, will mean no static running when shower is needed! for the now, its a strip out of the shooting kit and a repack with the camping kit - i want to be ready to go when lockdown lifts! Rear cleared out and 'tea' shelving back in. i forgot how big it was back there! Cheers James 110 2012 XS Utility 130 2011 M57 bespoke Camper 90 2010 Hardtop 90 M57 1988 Hardtop |

130 is still providing Stirling service, out on log duty last few days.
Click image to enlarge Have a boomslang loom plus some rear spot lights to add now, along with brighter headlight bulbs. Big purchase after much consideration, patriot 3.5m black rack enroute, have asked them to space the feet sufficiently to fit in the front runner table. On fact space for two! Due in a week or so. Patriot rack made to order due end of the week! will then need to find time to fit it!
Have some rear spots to add to the rack so need to get the wiring sorted for that off a dash switch (thank you TJ101) Fitted an interior light under the gull wing door to aid cooking of an evening. Even now have the perspex to fit under the roof tent to fill the gap between roof tent and awning, something thats been on the list since talking about it 18mths ago! Looking forward to fitting the rack but not looking forward to cleaning it first which should really be done! Looking forward to seeing it !
I’ve just put a deposit down on a 130 so will avidly be watching this thread. I’ve got a Hannibal on my 110dc which clearly won’t fit my 130 but it looks as though Tembo make a near identical rack. Did you ever look at them or were you set on Patriot ? https://www.instagram.com/hustynminepark/ |

I have a hannibal on my 90, works well. But to low to get table under.
Tembo one, sits a fair bit higher from memory and slats run across? I think from research I had a height issue, too high this time with tembo. They also never replied to enquiries. 110 usw rack will fit, check my other pics. Patriot but default almost, they rang back on an enquiry and built to order with leg spacing. I know product is good for test of time so went with gut on it. More £££ but they were more accommodating and flexible on changing dims to suit my needs. Well i have had the rack for a week, just dont seem to have time to spend sorting it. Starting to get there now.
Click image to enlarge Its a Patriot rack made to order for 130 with a double cab front support and an adpated (900mm spacing) rear double feet back. Table fits between the feet supports so needed to be wider than their standard set up. Click image to enlarge Table supports now fitted. Roof tent studs fitted. Just the awning mount to sort and the Perspex for the rear (rain guard for the gap between awning and roof) Click image to enlarge Cheers James 110 2012 XS Utility 130 2011 M57 bespoke Camper 90 2010 Hardtop 90 M57 1988 Hardtop |
