I think the gloss black arches look best with 16” gloss black sawtooths. My 110 came with the factory black pack but when I added the twisted wheels I had them colour coded. Andy

Yesterday removed the front winch bumper pending the 110 in for paint the week after next.
Took the chance to take the winch, the spot lights off the bumper so they can all get a much needed coat of paint. 1999 Defender TD5 110 Regards John M0VAZ Econet Station 48 no clock |

Interesting, I’ve been looking at those. Looks great! How was the install? And have you just wired up to reverse or do you have a separate switch? ‘08 Defender 90 Hardtop |

Took both the 90 and 110 in for their MOT’s both passed just 2 small advisories on the 110 new rear prop uj needed and some rear brake pipe needs replacement due to corrosion. Already knew uj was likely to need changing so pleased with not much else Andy

Collected the newly blasted and powder coated bonnet and wing chequer plate from the blasters/coaters. The bonnet CP has now got a slight bow in it looks like I will have to try and remove said bow. 1999 Defender TD5 110

No i wired it using the constant live from behind the drivers side speaker panel, took the wire over the back door and back down. ive then got 2 ground wires for it, one is on the speaker panel directly behind it with a switch and the other goes to the dash with a switch so i can turn it on from the dash or the back of the car. Fitting was a bit of a pain as my landy has always had a dent where the previous owner reversed into something and hit the reverse and no plate light. Part of the reason i bought this was to cover it up (good excuse). So i tried mounting it straight to the body but in was noticibly wonky pointing outwards so i took the old number plate light plinth and cut it diagonally into a little wedge about 2-7mm thick and then it was flat It was quite useful having it off the body 5mm in the end as i could run the cable into the fatter part of the wedge and into the car which looks neater than having the cable showing |

That headlining is looking good, outstanding job!
I need to do my Disco2 but I keep hesitating in case it turns out to be a disaster. |

I used 4 way stretch carpet from Ebay. 43 quid for a 5x2m roll and 5 cans of spray adhesive.
Quick YouTube review and then got stuck in. Very easy if a little messy with over spray from the glue. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/320965717945 |

Is that a random thought, or in response to something in particular?
