Fitted one about 3 years ago - what a difference in the gear chages.

I can't see how having a shorter throw would achieve that, myself. |

the one major improvement over the OEM unit is that it feels & operates like a 'gated' unit - so you're never hunting around for the correct gear.
everything also shifts with minimal input - so now you can change gears with your fingers instead of having to use your whole arm. -- 2010 Defender Puma 90 + BAS remap + Alive IC + Slickshift + Ashcroft ATB rear 2015 Range Rover Sport V8 Supercharged Defender Puma Workshop Manual: https://bit.ly/2zZ1en9 Discovery 4 Workshop Manual: https://bit.ly/2zXrtKO Range Rover/Sport L320/L322/L494 Workshop Manual: https://bit.ly/2zc58JQ |

Love mine, fitted 40000 Km ago!
Slick Shift is not the right name. It feels more mechanical and precise. Smoother, it isn’t. It encourages you to drive more smoothly. 1998 Tdi 90 SW, 2008 Td4 90 SW, 2012 2.2 90 SW, 2" raised Trailmaster/Terrafirma Heavy Track Raids, 255 MT´s, Recaro CS´s, anorak, wellingtons |
