Hi Tony, The pump is indeed a submersible ( Reich twin pump) it’s 18L per min & yes it serves three water points. One being the tap which is filtered potable water & then two shower points one rear panel & one off side back door for the quick pitch shower. The Bull finch shower points are mixers in their own rights so if you blank the hot water feed to them they become a basic flow switch from 18L per min to guessing 5L. Very impressed with how they work. |

Slowly getting there with the rear fit out, drawings are nearly there for the laser cutting.

It would be interesting to see how it works and if you can get a suitable pressure at the Bull finch shower point. I use a 7 litre shurflo 20 PSI in-line pump with an accumulator and a couple of filters (sediment bowl attached to the pump and a separate 3M in line). These just feed a single tap and the flow rate at the tap is really poor. I had intended using a bull finch shower point as well but the flow at the tap is so poor I abandoned that idea! Water containers are a couple of NATO jerry cans which I've had for years. I put an inline pump in because the neck is a bit tight to get a submersible pump in (and create a seal ) Tony |

Hi Tony, tried attaching a video but it won’t let me! Connected it up and it’s more pressure than my domestic shower at home, but it’s an 18L per min pump so more than double what you have at the moment.

Hi Tim
No worries, but thanks for the offer. I might have to get another pump . I should have done a bit more research when I got this one! I discussed it with Errol when I had the roof fitted but couldn't show him as I had stripped the inside out to make his life a bit easier! He had used a much juicier pump in his Defender (sold on already, when he did my roof) but I'd had a quick demo. at an earlier overland show - just didn't know (then) what size pump he had |

So, rear o/s gull wing out & panel fabricated up a roughly fitted drilled ect to accept Peli 1720 case. It’s a good fit & suits our needs holding a service kit & recovery kit. That’s off to be powder coated now.

I like that, very neat, could have been designed for the job!
I think I would be inclined to fit a couple fo stays to the peli to hold the lid horizontal when opened (to act as a sort of tray, and also probably a bungee running the length of it so that if I had to open it with the vehicle on the tilt it stops everything falling out. it's the testosterone-rich version of the hairdryer box on the new Discovery Defender! |

that looks really good and practical - love the idea and may ‘adapt’ it for Poppy!
Thinking of possibly using 2 boxes on that side mounted on air rails rather than one long box. - but still just thinking ! Poppy - TDCI (Puma) 110XS 2.2 - Camper conversion - see the build here - https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic56530.html Elgar -TDCI(Puma) 110XS Dormobile - now sold Devon & Cornwall 4x4 Response - DC126 |

Good points Blackwolf, ordered a couple of stainless stays & have a couple of stainless steel bimmi hooks that will accept a 25 mm cam strap to run from left to right. |
