LOL
Mine is about 8 miles as well but the round trip took 2 hrs with the waiting about for my click and collect order, and a "teams meeting" in a lay bye on the way back. DEFENDER 90 TDCI XS, I hope everyone is well and your land rovers make you happy |

Back to bare metal Cleaned X2 coats Buzzwelds Rust Encapsulator X3 coats FXLiner Face and the bottom where redone. Also welded on some end caps to finish off the sides, looks much nicer! had an expensive week with poppy this week ... Full 100,000 mile service, new tyres and tracking check as the continentals had developed a rather impressive bulge! ,
Click image to enlarge (Fitting the ex-Delorian ’no-roads needed' option from back to the future .... ... commonly know as BFG ATR K2’s ) Did some work on the auxiliary air heater to split the ducting to allow for hot air in the front and the back - the first ducting vents I bought melted so had to buy new on/off directional ones from Planair to complete the job, but all finished now - Bliss! upgraded the electrical system with a new fuel box and re-did al the connections for the auxiliary and USB sockets. And touched up the black paint on teh side step and rusty areas on the undersides ... looking rather posh now ! ^^^ no we still have the 285’s - they are now on Jules 110 ..
They were a little too close to the gas bottle mount in the rear wheel arch on Poppy, .. so swaped them over onto her 110 and she loves them ! Been an expensive week. Flown through MOT, taxed for another year and a 4 year service. Recently painted my front bumper and rear crossmember with a bit of rubber/plastic treatment thrown in too.
